Inventory Management
GCU PhotoRegister today when you register for the 2010 ANLA Management Clinic. The class is limited to 50 students.

Since 2002, Garden Center University has served as an integral part of the growth and success of garden centers throughout the United States and Canada. Offered over the course of two years, GCU is like a mini-MBA for garden centers. The five-semester program will improve the profit and market position of both small and large garden centers, veteran owners and new managers alike.

The five-semester program is linked throughout by core “threads” of learning (Fiscal, Human Resources and Sales & Merchandising) essential to profitable garden center operations. Participants are constantly networking and problem solving in workgroups. The 12-day program is incredibly interactive and sprinkled with examples of good and bad practices collected by class instructor Ian Baldwin.

Ian Baldwin has consulted for more than 30 years for companies in North America and Europe on garden center layout, marketing, merchandising, “retail detail” and the financial criteria necessary for a profitable operation. His goal is to help businesses help their customers spend more and it works.
